2008 Annual CTAHPERD Fall Conference

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jayne Greenberg
Dr. Greenberg is the NASPE 2005 National Physical Education Administrator of the year and received the 2005 Highest Recognition Award by the United States Secretary of Health, Michael Leavitt. She has received over $8 million in grants and funding for her programs in Miami Dade, FL (including four PEP grants). Dr. Greenberg has served as Special Advisor on Youth Fitness to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports; President of the Florida AHPERD; chaired the Sport Development Committee for the United States Olympic Committee as a Regional Development Program Coordinator for USA Field Hockey; coordinated the Olympic Torch Relay Miami Leg for the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, served as a national consultant in assisting school systems in setting up FIT-TECH Centers and assisted the United States Department of Health and Human Services in the development of the I Can Do It, You Can Do It Program, a national initiative to address the physical activity levels of youth with disabilities.
